When I first came across Choice Home Tutoring, what immediately stood out to me wasn’t just the quality of the business, but the values behind it. Having spent many years tutoring students across GCSE, A-level, SATs and 11+ preparation, as well as working within SEN and adult education, I understood how important it is for every student to receive personalised support that genuinely meets their individual needs. It quickly became clear that Jo and Colin had built a business around exactly those principles.
Before joining Choice, I had worked in both the education and construction sectors. Teaching however has always been where my passion lies. After getting to know Jo and Colin and learning more about the franchise, I could see that this was an opportunity to combine my educational experience with the chance to build a meaningful business that could make a real difference in my local community. Their honesty, professionalism and genuine commitment to helping both students and franchisees succeed gave me complete confidence in taking the next step.
The initial training was extremely comprehensive and gave me everything I needed to launch my business with confidence. Colin’s attention to detail was exceptional and every aspect of the business was explained thoroughly, from tutor recruitment and safeguarding to marketing, systems and day-to-day operations. What impressed me most was that the support didn’t stop once training finished. Jo and Colin have continued to make themselves available whenever I’ve needed advice, and our regular meetings have been invaluable in helping me develop my business strategically.
One of the greatest strengths of Choice Home Tutoring is the network itself. Although each franchise operates independently, there is a genuine sense of teamwork and collaboration. As Director of Choice Home Tutoring London Southall, I’m proud to be growing a service that helps students build confidence as well as academic success.
