Before Purple House I had never heard of franchising outside of the fast food world, but now I’m part of it, I can’t imagine any other way that you can get to have your own business, yet be so supported by a team of people focussed on helping you succeed. It really is a case of ‘just follow the manual’. Whatever the question, someone has the answer. Whatever you worry you might struggle with in terms of running a business, it’s in the training – even then, you have people at the end of the phone to guide you and make sure you get it right. Would I have ever run a private practice by myself? I think I might have eventually, who knows? But Purple House gave me the courage to do it when I did. Certainly, there is no way, if I had tried to do this all by myself, I would have ended up with such a good business, and certainly nowhere near as quickly. I have no regrets and the team have completely lived up to their commitments as the franchisors. When I think back to how disenchanted I was in the NHS, it’s hard to believe that I am now running my own business and building a great financial future for myself. More rewarding still, is that the majority of my time is devoted to my clients – every day I am doing what I love doing – my job!
