Pink Spaghetti Chester franchisee Michelle Collins and her dedicated team have completed the awe‑inspiring ‘21 Peaks in 21 Days’ challenge throughout August, raising an impressive £5,000 for Claire House Children’s Hospice, more than double their original target.
Honouring Baby Jessica & Supporting Claire House
The challenge was undertaken in memory of baby Jessica, daughter of team member Susan, who passed away aged just two days. In tribute, Susan selected Claire House as the beneficiary of the Chester team’s efforts. Susan, who has been with the Chester franchise for just over two years, was joined by her other daughter, Madison, also involved previously as part of the Chester team while in sixth form.
Claire House Children’s Hospice, serving seriously and terminally ill children and young adults in Cheshire, Merseyside and beyond, provides care, emotional support, and quality of life for families during their most difficult times.
An Unwavering Challenge
Despite sweltering heat, downpours, steep climbs and unforgiving terrain, the Chester team pushed through:
- Conquering 21 peaks in 21 consecutive days
- Total ascent of 4,267 metres
- Covered over 75 km in distance
Their energy, fellowship, and sheer determination shone throughout the challenge. Originally aiming to raise £2,000, their efforts and community support pushed that to £5,000 – a testament to the generosity of their supporters.
Why This Matters
Michelle’s co‑team and all those involved are not just franchisees, they are neighbours, friends and colleagues. The achievement underlines Pink Spaghetti’s values in action: pushing first for impact, compassion, and collaboration.
