I know exactly how it feels to be made redundant.
You may be experiencing shock, uncertainty, or even the feeling that everything you have built could be taken away. When it happened to me, I remember sitting there eating chocolate and thinking, what now?
That moment became the turning point of my life and the start of my journey into franchising after redundancy.
I realised I did not want to depend on someone else’s decisions anymore. I wanted to be in control of my time, my life, and my money.
I did not want another job where I had to ask permission to leave early for the school run, sports day, or to be mum to a poorly child. I wanted something where I could exercise, or even put the washing out, as part of my day, not as a bolt-on second job squeezed into the edges of my life.
I wanted to build something of my own.
Several years later, that idea became a mission to create a business that gives people the same freedom I had by then been enjoying.
Over time, it became more than just my story. It became a model that others could follow, a way for people to take back control through franchising after redundancy, just as I did.
Today, our franchisees come from all kinds of backgrounds. They all share one thing in common: the desire to work on their own terms and be in control of their time, lives, and finances.
A franchise after redundancy offers structure, training, and support, but still gives you ownership of your future. You are in business for yourself, but never by yourself.
If redundancy has left you feeling uncertain, I understand. I have been there. But it might also be your chance to do something that gives you the independence you have always wanted.
