Felicia Stoicescu is ‘Live-in CareAngel 2025’

Take Felicia Stoicescu of Guardian Angel Carers Chichester a shining example of the kind of CareAngel whose compassion, kindness and professionalism takes the strain off families all year round.

Felicia has been a dedicated Live-in Carer since 2019, supporting a client Andy after a serious accident that left him paralysed with speech and sight impairment and memory loss. She was recently named Guardian Angel Carers’ ‘Live-In CareAngel of the Year’.

According to Chichester Live-In Care Manager Amanda Wallington, Felicia’s care has “transformed Andy’s life, enabling him to remain safe, independent, and fulfilled. She balances professionalism with warmth, managing complex needs while creating a home environment where Andy feels secure, valued, and respected.”

With Felicia’s support, Andy continues to live life to the fullest. She helps him pursue travel, swimming, sailing, painting, music, volunteering while also adapting to his changing needs with patience and compassion.

“Felicia ensures Andy’s comfort and dignity,” says Amanda “while encouraging his determination to embrace new challenges and experiences.”

Andy himself has commented “Felicia is so thoughtful and caring. She thinks ahead and encourages me to push forward. With her support, I have been able to live as normal a life as possible.”

“Felicia deserves her award,” says Amanda, “because she goes that extra mile every day. She is a shining example of the very best of live-in care, combining skill, patience, and a heart big enough to make a lasting difference in Andy’s life.”

Celebrating family. Recognising carers.

“I’m so proud of Felicia, who has proven that she truly deserves the title of ‘CareAngel’,” says Vikki Craig-Vickers.

“Christmas is a time to celebrate family, but for us, it’s also a time to ensure that our incredible CareAngels are recognised too.”

“As we approach the festive season, it’s also important to remember that January is a time when caring businesses such as us receive more enquiries than any other time of year. In spending more time together, family members often notice or realise that time has taken its toll and elderly relatives have become more vulnerable, more frail.”

Tracy Clarke Head of Operations for Guardian Angel Carers Chichester says: “We know that the vast majority of people in the UK would prefer to remain in their own home as they grow older. So we work closely with you and your loved ones to create personalised care plans that give clients as much independence as possible.”

Guardian Angel Carers provide home care, live-in, specialist and overnight care across the UK.
