I have a career as a finance manager with a global private equity/real estate group of companies but I have an interest in health and the self-care market and personally believe in continuous health maintenance. When I saw that the Get A Drip franchise was available, I became interested, mainly due to GAD’s affordable pricing, which would make the products available to many.
As an owner without any medical background, I needed to leverage on GAD’s past experience, especially on medical requirements. It was a very steep learning curve, however, I felt supported along the way, where GAD was always able to provide guidance, share their past experience and provide clarity when asked.
It was very daunting launching during the pandemic, especially as I was not expecting the second lockdown – which happened one month after I launched my franchise. That had put my original plan of approaching corporate companies on-hold which indirectly helped me to re-strategise and adapt based on the current market demands. The pandemic has also challenged me to be more creative and innovative in terms of marketing during lockdown. It is very important to stay resilient and keep open communication with GAD.
I am definitely looking forward to growing with the GAD brand and exploring various sales point options, perhaps our own clinic one day.
