My career started in an entirely different industry. I studied natural sciences and I joined the pharmaceutical industry on a graduate training scheme in sales and marketing. My future career looked to be very corporate but having attended Monkey Music classes with my baby during maternity leave I fell in love with the idea of running my own business and doing what I love most – singing! All of the skill sets I had gathered from years in my previous role were used in setting up my new business and ultimately put me in a great place to launch my second territory. However, it all comes down to customer service and I invest a lot of time communicating with my customers and utilising all of the communication tools provided by Head Office. I also have a team of teachers who I work very closely with to deliver excellent classes and build my business. I work hard, never harder, but I am working at something I love and I have never been busier or happier.
