Boots Opticians becomes established member of the British Franchise Association

Boots Opticians, one of the leading optical chains in the UK, has been successfully accredited by the British Franchise Association (BFA) – the UK’s largest and longest-standing franchise trade association. 

Boots Opticians runs over 160 franchised stores across its wider estate of over 540 Opticians stores. As the newest established BFA member, franchise partners at Boots Opticians will gain increased access to support and guidance from franchise experts, and new franchise partners can join reassured of the ethical standards upheld by Boots Opticians.

Gordon Dingwall, Head of Franchise at Boots Opticians, said: “We’re incredibly proud to become an established member of the BFA and work with the wider franchise community to share best practice and learnings. The British Franchise Association is passionate about influencing the highest quality franchising practice in the UK. All members must go through its accreditation process in order to meet its standards, ensuring the brand is ethical and falls in line with the Code of Ethics for Franchising.
