New Franchisee in Shropshire

Shropshire, UK – DATE – Countrywide Grounds Maintenance has announced it’s newest franchisee, Rob Oliver, operating Countrywide Shropshire, further expanding its footprint across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Rob Oliver brings over 30 years of land-based and grounds maintenance experience to the Countrywide network of 46 franchisees.

Rob’s career path spans agriculture, transport, logistics, and commercial grounds services. He began with 14 years on a 300-acre arable and dairy farm, before moving into coach driving in the UK and Europe. He then spent 15 years managing a fleet of five lorries delivering biosolids to farmland, and more recently transitioned into grounds maintenance, founding his own company five years ago and delivering services on a national water utility contract.

Now, as Regional Director for Countrywide Shropshire, Rob is leading a team of six operatives based locally, focused on delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services to commercial and public sector clients throughout the region.

“Countrywide offered a supportive, forward-thinking culture and the tools I needed to grow a sustainable business,” Rob said. “It’s not just about growth—it’s about creating a better future for all of us.”

The move into the Countrywide network was also personally significant for Rob, who became a grandfather in September 2025.

“Becoming a grandad gave me a new perspective,” he added. “I want to build a legacy for my daughter, my son-in-law, and now for my grandson. Countrywide gives me the platform to do that, with a business I can be proud of, one that supports my family and gives back to the community.”

Mark Heath, Managing Director of Countrywide Grounds Maintenance, commented:

“Rob’s leadership, industry knowledge and dedication to his team and customers make him an excellent fit for our franchise network. He represents the values we look for in our Regional Directors; commitment to quality, service excellence and local community impact. We’re excited to support him as he grows Countrywide Shropshire into a thriving regional business.”
