Get Ahead, the award-winning virtual outsourcing agency is delighted to announce the addition of a new franchisee to its expanding network. Nicola Wolverson will lead the West Midlands region, helping companies in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford and beyond to get ahead.
With over 20 years of experience, Nicola is highly skilled in recruitment and account management, with exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills.
Looking for a new challenge, Nicola first came across Get Ahead on LinkedIn. “I was keen to do something for myself, but I wasn’t quite sure what or how,” Nicola says. “I saw the Get Ahead partner opportunity, and it sparked my interest. I have always loved building relationships and managing clients. I was impressed Get Ahead had such a big pool of experts, with so many skills ready to support a wide variety of small businesses.”
The flexibility of the Get Ahead franchise was a key selling point for Nicola. “I wanted a role allowing me to work flexibly around my children. I saw many jobs advertised as remote-based but still wanted someone in the office two to three days per week. Running a Get Ahead franchise empowers me to take control of my diary and work when and where I want, balancing work and family life on my own terms.”
Being new to franchising, Nicola was keen to fully understand how the business model worked before committing. “Rebecca Newenham, founder of Get Ahead, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She met me in person and answered many questions by phone and email so I could make a fully informed choice about whether the franchise was right for me.”
Over the next few months, Nicola looks forward to networking and building connections with many local businesses across the West Midlands. Nicola adds, “I am excited to work with Metro Bank and bring Get Connected networking events to Birmingham and Solihull. These free, informal networking events have been very popular in the South East. I look forward to launching them in the West Midlands and connecting with many local businesses.”
