Get Ahead VA is celebrating a major milestone for its Get Connected initiative, with 18 monthly networking groups now running in partnership with Metro Bank.

Get Connected began in 2023, led by Get Ahead franchisees Kristy Roff and Suzanne Evett alongside their local Metro Bank in Reading. The idea was to create a more relaxed and informal way for business owners to meet, connect and build relationships without the pressure of traditional networking formats.

Since then, the initiative has grown across the Get Ahead franchise network, with every Get Ahead franchisee now hosting at least one Get Connected group in their local area. The groups are designed to bring businesses together, support local connections and create opportunities for collaboration.

For Get Ahead, this milestone reflects the strength of its franchise network and the role franchisees play in building meaningful relationships in their communities. It also shows how a local idea, started by franchisees, can grow into a wider network initiative that supports business owners across the UK.
