Aspray

We’re proud to be recognised for the work we continue to deliver across our nationwide network and for the excellency we strive to provide for policyholders.

At Aspray we see different property damage every day, each one as unique as the policyholder behind the claim. For some it’s their beloved home that has been destroyed – leaving them worrying over where they will live. For others it may be their business or investment property and often they are worried about loss of earnings or rent. But, regardless of the type of claim, the Aspray model is built around a simple principle: behind every claim is a person. That focus shapes how claims are managed, from first notification through to reinstatement, and underpins the standards expected across the network.

Our franchisees operate within a national, market leading company, managing the full claims process on behalf of policyholders. This includes the entire claim off their shoulders, assessing damage, preparing and negotiating claims, and overseeing reinstatement works through a national network of more than 1,100 vetted contractors. Insurance is a necessary part of life for many property owners, giving our franchisees a huge amount of opportunity for growth and expansion in an evergreen industry. No matter the economic climate, damage still occurs to property and has been increasing in recent times due to the intensifying adverse weather hitting the UK year on year.

The work itself is varied and often complex. Claims can involve multi-room damage, structural issues, or disputes around settlement values. Aspray franchisees are supported with established methods and tools to manage these situations, including the use of injection drying to reduce disruption and scanning to improve accuracy and strengthen negotiations. Early engagement is another key part of how the Aspray network operates. Our First Notification of Loss service has supported over 1,000 policyholders at the earliest stage of their claim, providing guidance and reassurance from the outset.

Operating within the network provides a balance of independence and support. Franchisees build their own business within a defined territory, while benefiting from central systems, operational guidance and brand credibility within the insurance sector. The structure is designed to support growth through claim management and relationship building, rather than labour-intensive delivery.

Being shortlisted at the British Claims Awards reflects the strength of this approach. It demonstrates a model that delivers consistent results for policyholders and provides a clear framework for franchisees to operate within.

The winner of Loss Assessor of the Year will be announced at the awards ceremony on 4 June at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in London St Paul’s.
