Fast growing, premium homecare franchise GoodOaks, hosted their largest ever annual conference in Berkshire, last week. Care teams and franchise partners from across the country gathered together at The Swan at Streatley, to celebrate a successful year. It’s been a strong year for the brand, with 6 new franchise partners onboarded in 2023, all of which are now up and running with full CQC registration.

Among the keynote speakers was Katie Furey, a leading expert in Health and Social Care with 10 years experience in the sector. Katie delivered an engaging presentation covering topics such as franchisee goals and objectives and growth mindset. It was flowing with practical, actionable advice on overcoming challenges to growth. The afternoon session was split into two groups, with workshops for both registered managers and franchise partners to address their individual challenges with sector experts.

The network also welcomed new partners who will be covering large regions of the UK, with a first operation to open in Northern Ireland at the end of the year.

The day recognised the dedication and hard work across the board with an annual awards ceremony, honouring the care teams across the network. For 2024 an external judging panel was brought in, including team members from the well respected Homecare.co.uk.

Announcing the winners were Co-Founders Ben Ashton and Darius Mitkus, along with Operations Director, Zoe Kelly.

Commenting on the day, Ben Ashton said; “Bringing together franchise partners and their teams together again for 2024 has been a tremendous success. It was inspiring to see everyone together, the energy, ideas, and collaborations sparked during this event truly showcased the strength of our network. We are excited to build on these connections and continue driving innovation in homecare”.
